Service Pack 2
Service Pack 2 includes improvements and new features as well as some bug fixes.
- New simconnect module fixes occasional crash on exit issues some users experienced.
- Default Bendix 2d popup radio replaced with a new Becker radio that matches the virtual cockpit's visuals and functions.
- Added an ADF radio to the IFR cockpit.
- Added a cold and dark switch to the manager interface.
- Minor programming updates to the payload manager interface in order to improve interaction with the mouse.
- Magnetic compass now rolls and banks.
- Multiple background programming updates in order to improve performance and stability and to fix certain event flooding issues.
- Updated user manual.
This update requires the current version of the Bf 108 to be installed on your computer. Older versions are not supported.
If you allready added third party repaints to your Bf108, please back up your corresponding FLTSIM entries and re-insert them after the installation.
Service Pack 2a
Service Pack 2a adds the missing DX10 shadows to the IFR Light cocpit and also improves the magnetic compass turn/bank animations.
This update requires the current version of the Bf 108 and Service Pack 2 to be installed on your computer.

Applies only to customers who purchased and downloaded before 16. October 2011.
If you purchased and installed the Messerschmitt 108 Taifun before 16.10.2011, please download the complete installation file again free of charge and perform a new installation after uninstalling the previous version.
Service Pack 1 contains a number of new features and functions in addition to some small bug fixes and cosmetic texture improvements: The pilot now has company from passengers visible in the exterior model in all seats, configurable via a new manager interface. The new real-time manager allows quick access to fuel and payload as well as to frequently used simulation commands. In preparation for the coming cold season, the engine compartment can now be warmed up before take-off with the help of a visible and audible external heat source to facilitate cold starts and protect the engine.
Paintkit
If you are familiar with graphics editing software, you can create repaints for your Messerschmitt yourself. To make the process a little easier, we have prepared some templates in Photoshop psd format. These can be found after installation in the folder „FSX root folder\Classics Hangar\B108\Paintkit”.
