I have recently dug up the fantastic 190's when I bought p3d, and I'm encountering an issue I believe was also present during my FSX days. On the A-8 and A-9 I cannot drop the Drop tanks. I pull the red handle and I only get half of the sound clip and the tank doesn't drop. I have also tried dropping the tanks using the sim command, it'll say armed, then dropped, but the tank remains. It looks like the contents of the tank disappear though according to the fuel window in the sim. Any help is appreciated.

problem is, I can't replicate the issue.

Well I know it's a bit late of a reply, but I figured out the drop tanks issue. I must have had one too many beers one night because I was grabbing the wrong handle! I was grabbing the gear handle instead of the drop tank handle. Operator error!

could you please post a description or a screen shot explaining what is the tank drop handle in the latest versions of the Fw190A?
I am also unable to find the handle and have to fly with the tank always on

Red handle with "rumpflast" or something similar written on it. It's on the main panel, between the two halves. You may have to move your eyepoint down in the game to see it.

Also, use the "A" and "Shift+A" key to cycle through the views since that handle is somewhat hidden under the main panel.

Also remember you can use the payload manager to remove the droptank by setting fuel load and payload station weight to 0.
