On my clean notebook without tweaked shaders and stock textures, I have also this effect. :?
A little demo you can download here Mathias. Maybe you have an idea.

Moin Uwe,

die von Dir als Demo angebotene Datei ist eine zip-Datei, kann aber nicht geöffnet werden (bei mir)! Any idea?

Beste Grüße aus ETHB

The zip works for me, yet I can't dublicate the issue.
Uwe, with a similar zoom setting like in your video, do you get the same with stock planes or other third party aircraft?

Mathias, I use a widescreen display and the Acceleration expansion pack. And yes, the clipping also occurs in some stock and other third party aircrafts from a height of 100ft AGL.
However, the effect doesn't visible with the Lotussim L-39 Albatros. ;)

@ Tom ... Please download the file again. By uploading via UMTS from "far far away" problems was occurred. Sorry

Ah ok, so it seems to be an issue with some stock components, good to know! ;)

The L-39 doesn't use effect lights but 3d lights which have other issues such as funky colored ground polygons and blocky display in foggy/cloudy weather conditions so it obviously isn't perfect either.

Ok, the problem is probably a bug in FSX. Here is another topic Mathias:
