My parents have lived their life in Noordwijk and so do I. Noordwijk is a small sea-side resort just some 6 kilometers North of Valkenburg AB. Although the Dutch started the construction of Valkenburg AB already in April 1939, the airfield became its present shape in the years it was called "Fliegerhorst Katwijk" and used by the Luftwaffe.

In the incredible FW190 package you will find a repaint depicting the A-2 flown by Oblt Max Buchholz from Fliegerhorst Katwijk in summer 1942. The aircraft was brand new when he recieved it at this airfield.
