Hello,
Te forward viiew in the Fw190 is somewhat limited as on the real airplane. So it is difficult for me to land the Fw190 on a modern airrport runway. I usualy end up on the grass beside the runway. I would like some advices on how to land the airplane on a runway. Thank you for your help.
Have a good day.
Benoit

Re: Need some advices to land CH Fw190A-5 on a runway
Hi Benoit,
I usually approach the runway from fairly 1 kilometer altitude at a 90° side angle, slow down to below 300 kph, gear and full flaps, then a fairly steep descent so that you just can see the runway lights over the nose. The last 20 meters are always blind flying, LOL.

Hello Mathias,
Thank you for your help. I will practice the procedure you have described. With the FS we have no fear and we can try again and again without any damage. LOL
Have a good day.
