It is still factory fresh and doesn't have a scratch on it. But as it flew in the Mediterranean Theater of War it will have some scratches before I'm finished with it.

Very cool! I've been looking forward to someone picking up on this particular SKG10 plane.
The fact that it's still wearing it's Stammkennzeichen (the anglos translate that with "factory registration code") shows how desperate the Luftwaffe was during the Tunesian campaign to get their crates up into the air.
There's an excellent book on the Fw190 in Africa by Andrew Arthy and Morten Jessen "Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in North Africa".

Not all the dirt is yet applied and after that I have to do the damages paintwork.....

The repaint is for the A-5 model, which is indeed part of the late variants set. As you can see on the images below, the use in the desert has left its markings.
