Fuel selector - cut off

Post by sdflyer »

Hello,

I'm not sure if that something FSX handles on its own or something that can be fixed, but in the most of airplanes when fuel selector is set to "cut off" position it will take about 3 to 5 seconds before engine start sputtering and eventually quit from fuel starvation. For the most part, this due engine driven fuel pump which supplies remaining fuel for some time even after the fuel supply is cut.

I have noticed in Me-108 when move fuel selector through off position engine momentary sputter and quits . I believe shouldn't be like that. It's not a big problem as far realistic Me-108 behavior, but I wonder if there a possibility to verify or fix this glitch?

Thank you

That's just the way FSX handles fuel cutoff, not a lot we can do against it, unfortunately.
