Re: Preview page online
depending on some facts.
The short tracks over germany are normaly radio. Like the last one i did from EDLH to EDDG, simple route over 2 VORs and on and all FIX in line of some VOR radial.
But the one over the atlantik was all GPS, cause thats a lot of calculation i would be needed to keep on track with the wind and stuff.
At last, it depends on how lazy i am at the moment
PS: Something that comes up on my note sheet when im not lazy:

Cool!
If you want to do an ILS approach with the Bf108 you need to get out the map and calculator and work the altimeter, airspeed indicator and stop watch since there's no glideslope indicator in the plane.

Nice ones
oooh... that gone be hard, cause i also dont have DME, right? Thinking about how to deal with that i get vectors by the ATC... o.O Cause with triangulation its a tough to get the distance to the runway.Mathias Pommerien wrote:Cool!

Re: Preview page online
You get NAV1, NAV2 and GPS, no ADF.
DME and left-right indication is provided by means of the period AFN-2 gauge in the upper left of the "IFR light" panel (vertical needle indicating left-right deflection, horizontal needle indicating DME) ,
OBS can be tuned on the electric slave compass.

Does the position of the horizontal needle allways indicate the same distance? (Should be, right?)

60 - 0 nm where 60 nm is all the way down.
There's a tootltip when hoovering the mouse over the gauge glas though that tells you the exact distance.

Ok, that sounds all good. Missing ADF reduces the number of possible nav aids, but im allready happy about the addition of the IFR Panel.
