OT: Question for Mat!

Post by eddie »

I have 2 questions for you Mat, concerning the Luftwaffe during WWII, and a question concerning the He-111.

During the war, who was responsible for keeping the grass cut at the airfields? Anyway, they are not doing their job!!

Someone is sleeping on duty, the grass is almost touchy the nose of the Plane!

Since you designed a 111 a long time ago, did you ever read about its Blind Landing System and how that worked? I'll put up a pic from the sim so you can see it. Forgot to upload it,lol
Here it is, called the Lorenz Blind Landing system. Never heard of it.

Hey Scott,

the gauge you're pointing at is just an AFN1 beacon indicator.
The vertical needle shows deflection from course, the horizontal needle shows distance to beacon.
As you cross the beacon the yellowish light will light up.
