IFR Propellor backwards blade?

lol I was working on a repaint and was wondering why the propellor looked a little bent from a distance...looking closer on the IFR version...

Does one of the propellor blades have to be flipped so the leading edge is going the other way?

talking about 'backwards'

Can someone confirm that the elevator trim and flap wheels are rotating in the correct direction?
With all planes I've flown so far 'forward' means nose down (and flaps up) but maybe the Germans had it backwards in WWII like the Italiens the trottles...

I had to double-check that myself, Bernt, that's actually how it is.
The logic is that when you trim the nose down, you actually trim the tail fin up

just a very minor texture mapping note, I think the prop blur texture for the back of the propellor is mirrored to the front texture, not a seperate one. ie if you have a stripe on the front of the propellor and want it to show in the blur, it will appear on the back of the prop blur too.

Yes TJ, that's correct, front and back of the blurred texture are the same.
That's how it's done to save drawcalls.

Sounds good lol...I simply added a stripe to the back side of the prop. Personally I like being able to see the propellor arc is from cockpit...then I know not to raise the tail too much on takeoff
