Help With Starting The Plane

Post by tanker55 »

Hi: I haven't been able to get the engine running after starting FSX. I'm sure I'm just not doing it correctly. I pump the fuel pressure handle until the left dial indicator raises to between the two small tooth like detents. I give the primer two or three squirts, make sure the battery is on, magneto's to both, fuel cock on, throttle open a crack, and press the starter. The properly turns, but the engine does not start. Any suggestions. It looks great, and I'm sure it will fly great as well once I figure out how to start the engine. Thanks. Mike Gutierrez, North Hollywood, California.

Hello Tanker,

try with just a single primer stroke initially and see if the engine starts.
Three strokes might be allready too many if you fly at warm weather (North Hollywood would indicate so, LOL)
