The civi Messerschmitt (Me 108 Taifun)
Re: The civi Messerschmitt (Me 108 Taifun)
Hi Mathias,
I know it's not too nice to ask a developer how the progress on a project is. But now I'm just too curious.. How are you coming along with this beauty?
Grüsse,
Kai

Hallo Kai,
coming along nicely, though there's not a lot to show right now.
The cockpit is in the render farm, but nothin is implemented into the FS model so far.
Alessandro is painting the exterior as we speak.
Here are some early, un-edited progress shots from a stock FSX install:

Hallo Mathias,
thank you very much for the update!
She looks really beautiful. No doubt which plane I'll use in the future for cross country flights..
Put a Piper Arrow or 172 beside of the Taifun and you have really to ask which is the more modern one.
Grüsse,
Kai

Ok, the last two month where not good for modelling, too much administrative stuff and on top of that a house move.
However, I'm back at work again.
D-EBFW sports quite an interesting collection of gauges.
Not all original as per the handbooks but a nice and reasonable mix of period Luftwaffe gauges plus the odd swiss model inbetween.
