Hi, do the 'early variants' and 'late variants' versions of the FW190 for FSX have any refinements or advantages that the 'compilation' version does not have? Thanks very much, william thompson

Hello William,

they are absolutely identical as far as version build goes. That includes visuals and programming versions as well as "features".
The differences are merely in the included sub variants.
The Compilation is ment for those who want a fair representation of the Fw190A version history without splattering the harddrive with too many MB.
In a nutshell, with the compilation you get the A-3, A-4, A-5, A-8 and A-9.
With the early and late variants combined you get all versions A-1 to A-9 plus some special subvariants such as the heavily armored Sturmböcke.
Also most of the early and late variant aircraft come in versions with and without outer wing cannons (including differences in the flight model), whereas the compilation aircraft all have their outer wing cannons mounted.
