Uffz. Walter Köhne

Post by Huub Vink »

Alternative textures for an A5 flown by Uffz. Walter Köhne are uploaded at Sim-Outhouse and Avsim.com and will become available as soon as they are approved.

Walter Köhne served with JG52 in 1940 and particiapted in the invasion of Russia in 1940. He was badly wounded in June 1941, which took him away from his duty for a long period. Nevertheless he scored 12 victories at the Eastern front before he was transferred to JG1 in the Netherlands in 1943. He ended the war with 30 victories from which 15 on four-engine bombers.

Please read the included "readme" file.

Enjoy,
Huub

Hello Huub,

I have downloaded from Avsim this new repaint of the CH Fw190A-5. Once again it is a wonderful paint job. Bravo.

Thank you very much for these wonderful repaints.

Have a good day

Hello Huub,
I can agree to Benoit, I love your repaints too. Since the release of the late variants I was looking myself in the Internet which repaints would be of interest. I found one flown by Anton Hackl in France, 1944. Sadly I´m completely unable to make repaints - therefore my question: Would it be possible that you make this repaint anytime? Perhaps other Simmers would like this repaint too?

No problem, it is a quite standard paint with a white rudder. Therefore it should not take long to make it. I will try to finish it this weekend.

Cheers,
Huub

The answer from Huub is a good news for me. And the question from Mathias: Your opinion concerning the scource is right.

Yesterday we had no electricity in this region so I couldn't do anything on the Hackl repaint. Therefore I don't hink I can make this weekend's dead-line.

Sorry,
Huub
