I just made the first small cross country flight with the Taifun. I really love the plane. Congratulations on this great job, Mathias! :)

Attached one small picture in front of Hangar 3 at Fliegerhorst Brandis.

Cheers,

Hi, me again. Working on a Payload Model for FsP and i hate to say that i found something strange. the two "external" tanks should be together 60l but the big one has 34,4l and the small one has 17,2l. The percentage of both is 100,1 at max.

Any chance of fixing that?

Thanks for the report, kleineMax.

For a quick fix open the both aircraft.cfg files, locate the fuel section and modify the highlighted number:

[fuel]
LeftMain = 1.4, -2.45, -1.1, 12.548
Center2 = -0.25, -2.45, -1.1, 8.586
RightMain = 1.4, 2.45, -1.1, 12.548
Center3 = -0.25, 2.45, -1.1, 8.586
External1 = -4.17, 0, 0.9, 10.567
External2 = -4.17, 0, 0.9, 5.283

I'll note that for a future patch.

Hey Mathias - was hoping to be the first kid on the block with the Taifun but there appears to be a PAYPAL problem on this site. Are there other vendors offering your 108?

oldendirt, it will be available at FS Pilot Shop and Simmarket, but that will take 10 days at least.

What exactly are the issues you are experiencing? Maybe I can help?

The only 'issue' i had was that i took some time (over 15 min) till the download was avaible, but thats nothing bad ^^

PS: The fix for the fuel weight worked. Thx

Thanks Mathias for this gem and beauty. One thing I have noticed, however. The rudder and ground steering is very sensitive and twitchy. Ver difficult to keep her straight on takeoff. Is this normal?

Here are two of my pics. Scenery is FTX KORS (Orcas Island)

Yes, that's normal.
You can tone it down by reducing your joystick's rudder sensitivity, if it's a bit too much for you.
