You and Alx are doing some outstanding work Mathias!!! :)

In the last picture, what is that on the canopy? Extra bullet proof glass? Have never seen that before!

Thanks Scott!
Yep, that's the socalled Sturmjäger modification, used by the Sturmstaffeln beside others.
Sometimes refered to as Rammjäger.
Requirements for the modifications changed over time but when eveything was installed you had 30 armor glass on the canopy sides, 30 mm glas inplace of the triangled side windows, 5 millimeter armor plates on the cockpit sides and some protection around the ammunition.

Hey Scott, want to buy a used plane? You can save some bucks if you do the final cleaning yourself!

To be honest Mathias, before this series of 190's that you and Alx are working on, I thought the best work you 2 had done was the Schnauffer Bf 110 Night Fighters, I was so impressed with the design of those models, plus the great paint work done by Alx!

But, what you guys are doing here now, goes way beyond those 110's, this is the best work I've seen you 2 do! I wish I had the pc to run FSX, but maybe in the future I will, lol

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with when you get to the 110's, you have to do a couple of Schnauffi's paint schemes!!! :D

He, thanks much Scotty.
Schnauffer's crate, eh? Wasn't that 2003/2004? Ages ago, hehe.
I remember you wrote a nice review on it over at SoH.
Yep, been practicing 3d gauges with that one. 8-)

Thanks guys!

Here's some shots of the A-7/R2 pit.
New Revi 16 B gunsight and a somewhat simplified left console make the difference over the previous versions. The 12-Lampen-Gerät (gear/flap indicator) replaced by the 4-Lampen gear indicator and two simple mechanical indicators for flap position.

There's a lot more detail in the cockpit to be seen from the outside this time around.
Gauges and night lighting works also in the exterior model.
