My latest repaint

This repaint should be available at Sim-Outhouse and Flightsim.com soon(ish).

The repaint depicts a FW190 F8 from 1./SG4 when this group was based in the Turin area. White 1 was most probably flown by the Satffelkapitän. The aircraft were hand sprayed in a RLM 79 and 80 scheme over the factory paint, without making the masking the original markings.

The next repaint is already in the making. Even more weathered than the previous one. Sandblasted in the Tunesian desert......

Huub-

I loaded these up in FSX and they look great! Thanks again for continuing to do FW-190 repaints!

One of the things that I really enjoy about your paints is the subtle variations in color. For example, when I look at your RLM 76 surfaces, I can see many different shades present - not just a solid RLM 76 area. That makes the plane look very realistic in the sim.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to achieve this with my paints.

Cheers!

Keep trying Beavis. The subtle variations in color are caused by nearly transparent "noise" layers.
Due to these layers the repaint looses its unnatural sharpness.

Cheers,
Huub

Huub-

Thanks! I figured it was noise or a custom brush of some sort! Looks really nice in the sim.

I flew a couple flights down in Oz with these paints last night, Huub. Great work as always my friend!
