BF108 sounds
Well the patch 1.0a has delivered a very satisfying and enjoyable plane to fly, but I feel that what is holding the BF108 from being a great payware plane are the sounds. I have not checked the files but my guess is they largely come from the default aircraft or edited versions of the default aircra...

Re: Crosswind landings are quite fun
I totally agree. I was going to start the exact same thread. The patch has made an enormous difference and I don't think I could ever get sick of short field landings in a gusting crosswind. There is such a feeling of enormous satisfaction trying three pointers in a croddwind too - getting it to sta...

Re: Bf 108 now released!
user account control enabled or dissabled? Hi Mathias, Just geting back to you on this point as promised. My user account control was disabled. Strange thing is that I restored my disk image today (image was actually made only about a week ago), then reinstalled the BF108 and the utility now works ...

Re: Bf 108 now released!
Thanks ....and do you usually access your computer with administrative rights of with limited access, for instance as standard user? I think I always use it with adminstrative rights. In other words whenever I use it I am able to enforce any administrator rights and I am the only user of the comput...

Re: Bf 108 now released!
Aha, interesting. Can you tell me: -What operating system. - if Vista or Win 7: 32b or 64b, user account control enabled or dissabled? It's Win 7 64 bit. Not sure about user account control - will have to check later and get back to you. I may have disabled that though for some reason in the past -...

Re: flight dynamics problems
Great news Mathias (and quite a relief too!). I know I have only been a Classics Hangar customer for a day, but your level of service and resposiveness far exceeds that of any other software developer / vendor I have ever come across.

Re: Bf 108 now released!
Jon, it does two thing: 1. It configures the texture.cfg files in the Bf108 aircraft folders to use the resolution you choose. 2. It looks into the FSX.cfg, checks the texture_max_load and if required adjusts it as per your selection. That means in return if you select "2048 in the manager and...

Re: Prop pitch key mapping
Thanks for the very quick reply Mathias. I wuld be interested to know what this workaround might be. So long as the programs required do not consume resources to the point of affecting actual system performance, it would at least give me the choice of that workaround versus having to use the mouse. ...

Re: Bf 108 now released!
Oldendirt, you don't need to edit anything by hand. This time around the included tool will adjust the FSX.cfg (if needed) and do the texture configuration. It's located at Start\All Programs\Classics Hangar\Bf 108 Taifun along with user manual, just fly utility, "check for updates" link ...

Prop pitch key mapping
Yes, I have read the manual where it stated that mapping the prop pitch control to keys is not possible. I am just wondering if "not possible" really means completely impossible no matter what, or simply too difficult to do in a reasonable time frame or perhaps even we could not get around...
